DISCLAIMER

Set forth below are the rules for the Canada Green Energy Grant (the “Grant”). This document sets forth the entry requirements, the judging criteria, ownership of entries and other important rules governing the Grant (collectively, these “Official Disclaimer”). By participating in the Grant, you agree to be bound by these Official Disclaimer and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are binding and final in all matters related to the Grant.

SPONSOR: The Sponsor of the Grant (the “Sponsor”) is Canada Green Energy Assoc.

PROMOTION PERIOD:

The Grant begins May 12th, 2024 at 12:00 A.M. CST and ends on December 31st, 2024 at 11:59 P.M. CST (the “Promotion Period”). The Sponsor’s computer is the official time keeping device for the Grant, and the Sponsor is the official timekeeper for the Grant.


ELIGIBILITY:

The Grant is open to legal residents of the Canadian (for the purpose of these Official Disclaimer) who are eighteen (18) years or older at the time of applicant who are able to provide proofs of valid Canadian driver’s license, property tax bill and government property assessment. The Grant is subject to all applicable national, federal, provincial and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited by law. Proof of eligibility must be provided upon request. Applicants who are approved for Federal Canada greener Home Grant, or who have already started solar panel installation, or who have already finished the solar panel installation are ineligible for the Grant.

HOW TO ENTER

To submit the application, applicants must complete the online form and submit the completed form pursuant to the instructions provided therein by the end of the Promotion Period. Applicant will receive an email of confirmation of receiving the Grant application within 48 hours of submission. The Sponsor shall have no liability for any submission that is lost, intercepted or otherwise not received by the Sponsor. NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT NECESSARY TO BE APPROVED FOR THE GRANT. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF BEING APPROVED. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.​

  • Applicant submits Canada Green Energy Grant application

  • Canada Green Energy will confirm if applicant is eligible for the Grant*

  • Participant sends the required documents

  • Canada Green Energy will review the document to confirm the Canada Green Energy Grant details and notify the participant by email

  • The solar power system must be installed within ONE year and go over the government inspection. Proofs must be submitted to Canada Green Energy for final sign off.

  • Canada Green Energy will send the Grant in the form of a cheque

     

* If you don’t receive the eligibility confirmation email within 48 hours from  Canadas Green Energy Grant, please check your spams.

CANADA GREEN ENERGY GRANT

During the Promotion Period, applicant who meet the requirements and submit authentic and legal materials can be approved for the Grant up to a maximum of $5,000. However, the Sponsor does not guarantee that all participant will receive the maximum Grant of $5,000. The final Grant amount will be determined based on the solar system capacity confirmed by the Sponsor, and it must comply with relevant legal provisions. Participant must complete the entire process within ONE year to be eligible for the final Grant. Participants cannot change, transfer, or assign the Grant. The Grant will be sent in the form of a check to eligible participants after the solar system installation is completed and approved by the government. The Grant is valid for ONE year, starting from the date the Grant amount is received. For example, if the Grant confirmation email is received on May 12, 2024, the energy subsidy will be valid until May 12, 2025.

APPLICANT SELECTION

The applicant will receive an email from the Sponsor within 48 hours after submitting the application and be required to provide the valid proof of valid Canadian driver’s license, property tax or property assessment. In the event an application is discovered to be invalid for any reason whatsoever or the person who submitted the applicant fails to comply with these Official Disclaimer prior to delivery of the Grant, the Grant shall be forfeited.

RIGHTS OF THE SPONSOR:

The Sponsor reserves the right to suspend or cancel the Grant or modify these Official Disclaimer as necessary for any reason or as required by applicable law. The Grant reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify from the Grants, and ban from any future promotions, any person it believes to have intentionally violated these Official Disclaimer, or to be acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or to have tampered with any element of the Grant without notice to the disqualified or banned person.

GOVERNING LAW

All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Disclaimer or the rights and obligations of entrants and the Sponsor, in connection with the Grant shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the province of Alberta without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of laws rules or provisions. Any legal claims arising out of or relating to the Grant or these Official Disclaimer must exclusively be brought in the federal, provincial or local courts located in Calgary, Alberta.
